ABOUT ME

I’ve always had a fascination with all things metaphysical, paranormal, esoteric, mystical and occulted. As a child I sensed there was an unseen hand guiding me, supporting me and protecting me. Through all the twists and turns of life, every moment I thought I was “off track” or things didn’t seem to pan out how I had expected, I would find myself exactly where I needed to be. As the winding path of life unfolded before me and the sum of each chapter began to tell a larger story, I wondered many times whether I was truly making choices myself or instead was being guided by forces outside my control. As I began to take a closer look at this “unseen hand” I noticed that the most important moments in my life were playing out in a cyclical manner. Themes would pop back up at certain times almost like clockwork. I found myself reaching out more and more to the gods of fate, asking for guidance and answers to my burning questions. I spent countless hours pondering the age old questions surrounding free will and fate. I’ve found we have both. We come to this earth plane with a plan and purpose- our fate, but within that fated existence we have the free will to choose how to respond and react to our life circumstances. I have found that looking at the revolutions of the planetary spheres gives us valuable awareness about how to work WITH the energies of fate. When we fully embody free will and align it with our fate, magical things unfold.

Astrology sought me just as I was seeking it. Growing up in a traditional Christian household, I was heavily discouraged from exploring God through an esoteric or cosmic lens. Ironically, it was astrology that led me back to God, for I could no longer deny the perfect, precise and intelligent design of our Universe and all its inhabitants. As a young person I had a copy of Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs tucked under my pillow and every night I would secretly read it in bed, pouring over the archetypal figures of the zodiac and feeling a resonance that at the time I couldn’t explain. As I grew older my interest never left- but it was years before I recognized that it was more than just the position of the sun- the moon and all the other planets played a role too! After years of orbiting astrology I finally decided to take a deeper look at what it was all about. My serious studies began in 2016. I was ravenous for astrological and symbolic education. Since then I have attended more webinars, classes, read more books and listened to more podcasts on the subject than I can count. I have completed certification courses from Rebecca Gordon and recently graduated from the Cosmic Academy of Astrology with Heather Eland. My education is, and always will be, ongoing.

My approach to astrology uses a combination of traditional Hellenistic techniques and tropical western astrology. I use the whole house system. Outside of the technical aspects involved in decoding a chart, I am also highly intuitive and I bring this into my work every day, in combination with numerology and tarot.
